New LC76 family of innovative multi-constellation GNSS modules
– also with extremely low power consumption
With the LC76GPA, Quectel presents a new GNSS module that is characterized by a current consumption of only approx. 10.5mA in active acquisition or tracking mode.
This low power consumption is made possible by a combination of a very efficient LNA, a highly efficient internal power supply and, last but not least, Airoha’s new AG3352 chipset.
The LC76GPA is pin-compatible with the widely used and proven L76/L76L and can therefore be used perfectly as a drop-in replacement.
The module supports constellation GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS and SBAS augmentation services. The operating voltage range is from 2.55V to 3.6V.
In addition to the low-power variant mentioned above, there is also a price-performance-optimized version of the module – the LC76GAB. This module supports all the features of the LC76GPA mentioned, but has a higher power consumption.
The new and also pin-compatible LC76F based on the GK9501 chipset is now also available for extremely cost-sensitive applications.
For applications that require significantly higher localization accuracy, Quectel offers dual-band GNSS modules with the LC29 and LC79 product families with various augmentation and dead-reckoning features. – The tekmodul team is happy to help you on this…
